The Geology of South Wales: A Field Guide - Third Edition
The third edition of this book has been extensively revised with the inclusion of extra documentation and colour illustrations for:
- Chapter 2, Principles of stratigraphy, fossils and biostratigraphy
- Chapter 3, Field analysis of sediments and sedimentary rocks
- Chapter 4, Field analysis of igneous, metamorphic rocks and structural geology

The excursions have been selected from five regions:
- Vale of Glamorgan (7 itineraries)
- Gower Peninsula (6 itineraries)
- North Crop of the South Wales Coalfield (4 itineraries)
- South Pembrokeshire and Carmarthen Bay (17 itineraries)
- North Pembrokeshire and Cardigan Bay (11 itineraries)
